Impressions Dance Staff
Melissa Landry is the owner/director of Impressions Academy of Dance. She began her dance training over 20 years ago under the direction of Cindy Williams. Growing up Melissa was involved in modeling and dance competitions, winning herself numerous talent and modeling titles. In 1997 she was named Springfield's Junior Miss and competed for the state title. Melissa is a 1999 graduate of Dean College where she recieved an AA in Dance. She is also a 2003 graduate of Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts where she recieved a BA in Psychology. Melissa has been awarded many awards for her choreography over the years and has seen many students place with a high score award. Her choreography was featured in a half hour dance showcase at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World in 2003. She is on the committee of the Miss Western Mass Scholarship Pageant which is a Preliminary to Miss America, as well as a pageant judge and a fourth year memeber of NADAA.
